How to Order/Payment Options

Select your delivery country at the top of the page (please note we ship to USA/Canada, Australia/NZ, and most countries in the EU). This will dictate the billing currency (US$, A$, Euros) and allow you to convert these currencies into many others in your region.

Shop throughout our store and place the items you wish to purchase into your shopping cart. Remember, you may change the quantity of any item in your shopping cart, as well as remove it completely, at any time.

When you have completed all of your shopping, simply fill out and submit the online order form. We reconfirm availability of your order and send you an invoice by email. You send us payment details and we seek approval on your card and finalize the charge.

Please note that we absorb any applicable Sales Tax charges on US orders. We use our best efforts to minimize taxes payable on import into your country, but cannot be held responsible for any such taxes. Most countries have discretionary limits which mean no import tax is payable on items for personal use. In the case of the UK, VAT is applicable on import and payable by you. However, in our experience this is levied in no more than 10% of cases.

Perfume basics

The most basic type of women's perfume strength is a true perfume (parfum). A person who wears true perfume will have an expensive small bottle of the strongest concentration of the scent. Perfume is concentration of aromatic oils that will be at least twenty percent. By using the true perfume a person will have the full essence of the fragrance offering an unmistakable aroma. For the average person on the average day a less expensive, lower concentration of a perfume will be completely appropriate. The eau de perfum, eau de toilette, and eau de cologne will all have reduced concentrations in that order of listing. These concentrations can be bought in larger sizes for less money making them affordable types of women’s perfume strengths, though they will last for less time on the skin.

Fragrances may be floral, spicy, woody, herbal, musky, powdery (also called “chypre”) or “aqueous” a recent designation for aromatherapy scents that are based more on a concept of a “watery” smell than an actual scent. The recent rediscovery of herbal and floral scents combined with recent technology for scent capture has created new markets for subtle extracts—“headspace” scents extracted through the use of gas chromatography, creating entirely new classes of perfumes. Food scents such as vanilla, chocolate, cherry and coffee have made their way into perfumery to the chagrin of many classical perfumers and to the happiness of younger customers who like fruity, foody, unsophisticated scents. Many perfumes combine the scent categories, creating combinations such as “Oriental” which is usually identified by heavy florals and spices. Aldehydes, which made their debut with the heady scent of Chanel No. 5, are pure chemicals whose particular odors are named by letters rather than names. Aldehydes, while completely man-made are also compelling and immensely popular, making up many of the elegant perfumes of today.

Product quality

The products we offer are original, new, and unopened. We are often asked about hard to find items. A large number of such items are withdrawn from sale in department stores if the volumes do not meet corporate criteria. Often the stores represent these items as discontinued, where they are in fact still in full production. So just because an item we offer is hard to find, it does not mean it is old stock or in any way imperfect.

Testers

Perfume testers are the same original fragrances that you find in full size perfume bottles. Fragrance companies manufacture perfume testers to promote their products. Perfume testers may come in a variety sizes and forms of packing - some come with simple white or brown box with or without a cap and may be labeled "Demonstration" or "Tester" the quality of the perfumes themselves are not affected at all and are the same as the one in retail fancy box . All perfume testers are sold unused, with the entire original quantity in the container. If you're purchasing for yourself, perfume testers are a great way for you to get perfume for better discount but may not be appropriate for gift.
